Grinch I Used To Smile And Then Became A Police Officer T-Shirt is a humorous and dark tale about a bald, Grinch who becomes the local police officer. It started when Grinch decides that Christmas is coming and wants to make sure all the children on his list get to celebrate it. He goes around getting all sorts of gifts from toys to gifts for the children. One of the gifts is a t-shirt. But not just any t-shirt; it’s the Grinch’s special one with a smiling face on.

With the help of his friends, Grinch sets out to catch the evil burglar responsible for the crime, but he gets too close and his friends decide to pull rank and arrest him. But he refuses to be caught and instead chooses to leave town, not returning for several weeks. When he does finally return, however, he doesn’t have his trademark smiling face – he has a nasty, black and white grin, much to the dismay of his neighbors.

After months of being missing, the police start to think that Grinch may be a symptom of a more sinister disorder. The janitor who cleans the police station decides to investigate and after talking to some other officers, he puts together a plan to find out who this Grinch is and what he did to cause such a crime. Along the way, he learns that the Grinch is actually a police impersonator, which leads him to the true meaning of Christmas: to celebrate life! Although the shirt that Grinch wore is funny and you might laugh at some of the humour in the book (well you should, it’s a good read), the true meaning of Christmas is brought to light and the true meaning of Christmas T-shirts is revealed… as well as the reason why the Grinch decided to assume the persona of a cop in the first place.
